Just as an FYI for people looking at used VT1's: The VT1 had a very nice set of wheels, crankset, and brakes, and if it hadn't been ridden too hard and still had the original parts I mentioned, might be a decent deal at $500. It was a $3,000 bike when it was new and actually rode quite well.
