There's a few exceptions but you're farming gold to get it most of the time. Fractals are fun but again it's a grind when you end up needing more ascended gear to reach high T4 content. Guild Halls are a gold/material grind.

Warrior is also meta in a lot of things, but much more narrow. It's meta in raids and Fractals, but mainly as a hybrid DPS support class.

It's just plant-based instead of being bone. They have internal organs and must eat as well.
